During the election, a plebiscite question will be also be included:
“Do you support the Village of Canal Flats retaining the services of a professional
to design and investigate costs associated with construction of a new community hall?”
A plebiscite is a non-binding question to the electors on an issue that affects the municipality. The process is similar to assent voting (referendum) and will assist Council in decision making for the community hall.
