With a new and innovative Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw, ongoing implementation of an Economic Development Strategy, and growth of the Village anticipated in the wake of the launch and expansion of the Columbia Lake Technology Center, the team will play a leadership role in community transformation.

Resumes are being accepted in advance of Canal Flats’ new, licensed, child care centre opening – which is projected to open in late fall of 2021. Early Childhood Educators and Early Childhood Assistants are encouraged to submit a resume. All resumes will be considered but special focus will be on those individuals showing a passion for caring for and program planning for young children. The Centre will be in the downtown area of the Village, near the headwaters of the Columbia River and surrounded by the Rockies and Purcell Mountains. An interest in healthy rural living would be an asset.
